Energy efficiency in buildings

About the products

The requirements for energy performance of buildings are constantly being tightened and controlled. According to available statistics, most energy in Slovak households is used for heating and hot water. The second high figure on energy bills is the electricity used for the smooth running of our households. The better the quality of the thermal insulation of the "building envelope", the more we reduce the likelihood of thermal bridges. The impact of thermal bridges on the overall energy efficiency of a building is therefore crucial from this perspective. The best solution is to start planning for the energy saving of the building already in the planning and preparation phase of the project.

It is therefore important to implement a quality insulation of the building, i.e. the thickness of the insulation used, which in the past used to be saved by using a thinner insulation layer. The next step towards energy efficiency today should be the use of renewable sources, such as the application of solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, biomass boilers and the use of geothermal energy. Since we are in the window manufacturing business, we know a lot of fundamental things about energy efficiency.

In addition to their pleasant appearance, they will also positively surprise you with their excellent thermal insulation properties. DH92 and DH92/110 profile windows are suitable for passive buildings due to their thickness and thus thermal insulation properties. The heat transfer through such windows is at the level of 0.68 - 0.7 W/m2K. This is more than sufficient for planning a passive building for your happy life.
