Sliding doors - when are they right for you?

Traditional door leaves can in some cases obstruct or unwantedly fill the space. There may be little light flowing through the interior, or the construction opening may be too small

About the products

In this case, it is a good idea to choose a sliding door for your interior. Sliding doors do not need space to open and close, so they are a suitable alternative for places with narrow passage widths, for example narrow corridors. Sliding doors only take up space if they are placed on a wall. With sliding doors to the housing, this is therefore a space-saving alternative. An important positive aspect is the absolute silent closing, which quality sliding doors must have.

Sliding doors do not have hinges or handles, which can sometimes be quite noisy. So the second role of sliding doors is to soundproof the space. The third point is the ease of sliding the door. The door must be able to slide with one movement of the hand. So for a relatively affordable price you get an aesthetic and unpretentious element for the interior. If you need to let more light into the room, you don't have to choose only wood as a material. All-glass sliding doors are a current trend. It is safe to say that they are the perfect alternative to classic doors in terms of functionality.

So do they have any disadvantages? The only disadvantage with sliding doors built into the construction casing is the more difficult construction preparation. So you need to put the pros and cons together and decide. However, we think the pros of sliding doors far outweigh the cons.
